Manager Andy Edwards admitted the O's failed to create many clear cut chances during their 3-1 defeat at home to Barnet.
Despite an even first half in E10, it was the Bees who made the breakthrough after the hour mark when centre half Ricardo Santos found the back of the net twice in the space of three minutes.
Paul McCallum pulled a goal back with a header in the 79th minute, but the O's first home defeat in four was completed in stoppage time when Curtis Weston swept home from close range.
The loss leaves the O's four points above the relegation zone, and Edwards admitted that his side made it hard for themselves by conceding the first two goals in such quick succession.
