Orient boss Omer Riza was disappointed to see the O's end the home league campaign with a 3-1 defeat to Colchester United yesterday.
Sandro Semedo's fine strike had cancelled out Tariq Fosu's opener for the U's, before the visitors scored twice in quick succession through Chris Porter and Macauley Bonne to seal the win.
Riza felt the O's were always in the game at 1-1, but admitted mistakes at the back proved costly once again.
The 37-year-old was delighted with Semedo's goal and feels he can operate in both the centre of midfield and in his more familiar wing position.
While frustrated to lose out in the penultimate game, Riza is eager to end the season on a positive note at Blackpool next weekend.
