ORIENT have signed former Queens Park Rangers winger Lee Cook on a five-month contract.
The 30-year-old winger has been training with the O’s for the last three weeks following his release from Loftus Road in the summer and has now put pen-to-paper on a deal taking him through to January 24.
Subject to the club receiving Premier League clearance, he will be available to play in Saturday's match against Hartlepool United.
He spent two months on loan at Brisbane Road from the R’s last term, scoring once in ten appearances before ending the campaign with a similar loan spell at npower League 1 title winners Charlton Athletic.
QPR let him go at the end of the campaign, three-and-a-half years after paying £2.5million to take him across west London from local rivals Fulham.
He also turned out for the R’s between 2004 and 2007 after making his pro breakthrough with Watford.
Cook arrives in E10 having scored 23 goals in 291 senior appearances and will wear the number 21 shirt during his time with the club.
