ORIENT striker Kevin Lisbie has been nominated for the npower League 1 Player of the Month award for November.
Lisbie, 34, is part of a three man shortlist for the prize following a fantastic month which saw him bag five goals in as many games.
He is up against Brentford goalkeeper Simon Moore and Doncaster defender Rob Jones, with the winner set to be announced on Sky Sports News on Friday morning.
We take a look at the three nominees here...
Kevin Lisbie (Leyton Orient) – striker
The veteran forward’s return from injury coincided with Leyton Orient’s climb up the table. His pace and awareness created space for others while his calmness in front of goal brought him five goals in five games, including two braces against Shrewsbury Town and Portsmouth.
Rob Jones (Doncaster Rovers) – central defender
A colossus in the heart of the defence, his aerial ability was effective at both ends of the pitch as his five games in November served up three clean sheets, four wins and two goals. He offered a towering presence at set pieces, powering home a bullet header against Scunthorpe United.
Simon Moore (Brentford) - goalkeeper
It’s been an outstanding month for the 22-year-old keeper who conceded just two goals in four games and performed several heroics in doing so. His penalty save preserved a 2-1 win over Carlisle United and a string of superb stops helped to ensure a 2-0 victory over Sheffield United at Griffin Park.
