Getting to the stadium on foot:

One of the best ways to get around is by using your own two feet. It needs no special preparation or gear, and costs very little.
If you live 2 miles away from your destination, you’re likely to make this journey in around 35-40 minutes. We all know that we need to get at least 30 minutes of exercise a day to keep healthy, so why not save some cash on gym membership, and add walking to your new fitness plan

Getting to the stadium on your bike:

Cycling is easier than you think.  It's healthy, fast and above all, low cost! Why not avoid the crowds and queues by cycling to the match? The Matchroom is fully accessible by bicycle.  Waltham Forest is part of the Mini Holland Scheme and as such has an extensive and growing cycle network, focusing on quiet streets and traffic-free paths. That's why more and more people are giving it a go, so why don’t you get on your bike?
Three miles is an easy cycle ride which will take most people around 20 minutes and with Walthamstow, Stratford and Hackney all being under this distance, it’s easier than you think. Even cycling 4 or 5 miles should take no more than 30-40 minutes at a pretty modest speed, so don’t be put off if you live a bit further from the stadium

Once you arrive at The Matchroom, there is a range of cycle parking available around the stadium provided by Mini Holland who have recently installed a large number of bike racks around the stadium (outside the SCORE centre). Be sure to keep an eye out for our new ‘bike hub’ that will also be appearing at some point during the season too!
