LIVE LEAGUE 1 action just got more accessible for local community groups with the announcement of an exciting new ticketing initiative from the O's.
The club have launched a new 50/50 Community Ticket Scheme, allowing local community groups to watch the O's at a discounted rate - and share in the proceeds.
Group tickets under this new scheme will cost just £10 for adults and £5 for juniors, with one adult ticket issued free of charge for every ten junior tickets issued.
Furthermore, the proceeds of all ticket sales will be split 50/50 between the O's and the community group, giving local schools, charities and other groups a great incentive to get behind their local club.
The O's were named as the League 1 Community Club of the Year in 2009 and provide 4,500 participation and engagement opportunities every week for young people through the Leyton Orient Community Sports Programme (LOCSP).
O's chairman Barry Hearn said: "We've always taken great pride of our work in the community, and LOCSP has been recognised as one of the best programmes in the country.
"This scheme offers the perfect opportunity for the club to work with our community partners, allowing groups of new supporters to watch live professional football at a discounted rate, as well as helping the community groups themselves.
"We look forward to welcoming them to Brisbane Road over the course of the season."
