Brisbane Road Hit By Wintry Weather

BRISBANE ROAD was left under a blanket of thick snow on Monday morning after London and the south east was hit by the heaviest snowfall seen in 18 years.

All London buses were withdrawn from service and both Heathrow runways were closed, while road and rail transport was also disrupted by up to 6 inches of snow.

Brisbane Road didn't escape - as our pictures show - and further snow is forecast for Monday afternoon and evening.

The O's are due to host Leeds United in E10 on Tuesday.
