GERAINT WILLIAMS' first game as Orient boss yielded a hard-earned point as the Londoners ground out a 0-0 draw at Tranmere Rovers.

The Merseysiders possess a fearsome record at Prenton Park, but Orient gave as good as they got and were well worth the point.

Jamie Jones produced a flying save to deny Edrissa Sonko before the break, but the young stopper was protected well by his defence and he wasn't overworked.
