ORIENT slipped to another home defeat on Tuesday night when promotion-chasing Peterborough United continued their bid for a second successive elevation with a 3-2 victory.

Orient conceded three sloppy first half goals to Chris Whelpdate, Sergio Torres and Russell Martin, giving themselves a mountain to climb.

But Scott McGleish twice reduced the deficit as Orient fought for a route back into the contest - but that three goal blast took the game just about away from them.
