Williams - It's The Toughest Game Of The Season
GERAINT WILLIAMS is under no illusions as to the size of the task facing his side at Leeds United this evening.
Orient travel to Elland Road as huge underdogs with Leeds undefeated at home this season and storming clear at the top of the League One table.
Williams describes it as the O's most difficult test of the season so far, but is nevertheless confident in his side's ability to spring a surprise and come away with a result.
He said: "It's probably the toughest game of the season, away to the league leaders who are undefeated at home.
"We're looking at it as an opportunity. To go up there, be organised, look to get into the game first and foremost, and then hopefully to get a result.
"We know it's going to be a tough test. Not only are they a good side, but when you look at the size of the stadium, the crowd, the squad, it's a big challenge for us - but one that we're up for.
"It's our opportunity. We can be the first team to win there this season in the League and that's what we'll be trying to do.
"If everyone does their jobs properly then we certainly have a chance - we can go and win anywhere."
Williams is likely to once again have a fully-fit squad to choose from and he enjoys the selection dilemmas that come along with that.
He added: "Competition for places is healthy and you want that all over the pitch.
"We have that competition now. We had a good result on Saturday, and now we have to go up and pick a winning side and a winning formation to win the game at Leeds."
