The West Stand

Posted on: Tue 17 Aug 2010
THE CONSTRUCTION of the new West Stand in 2005 saw the club's administrative offices move over to the Oliver Road side of the ground.

Previously, the East Stand had been the hub of activity at Brisbane Road, but the long-awaited opening of the new stand meant that was to change.

With space for 2,872 supporters along with 46 disabled places, the West Stand is home to the best facilities in the ground.

The central block provides padded seating for Gallery members and diners in the Olympic Suite, while the third floor directors' balcony plays host to the top-level hospitality at the club.

Press facilities are located on the fifth floor, while the new dressing rooms at lower ground level opened in time for the 2007/08 season.

2009/10 capacity:

- Home supporters, Gallery and Directors' Balcony: 2,872
- Home disabled supporters: 23 disabled + 23 helpers

Total: 2,918
