Young Second String In Action Tonight

Posted on: Tue 22 Jan 2008

A YOUNG Orient reserve side will travel to Queens Park Rangers tonight for a Pontin's Holidays Combination Central Division clash.

With a number of professionals in the treatment room early this week, O's boss Martin Ling has decided not to risk any of his fringe players, and the only senior player on show at Loftus Road will be goalkeeper Glenn Morris.

Orient will hand a trial to Fisher Athletic striker Jeff Goulding, who has been training with the O's recently.

Goulding, 23, was a junior with Reading and Crystal Palace and has starred for the likes of Aldershot, Yeading and Fisher in the non-league game.

The rest of Orient's side will be made up of scholars as the O's look to record a third straight Combination win.

Kick-off at Loftus Road is at 7pm, with admission priced at £5 adults and £3 concessions.
