Morris Set For 100th Career Start

Posted on: Fri 18 Apr 2008

ORIENT goalkeeper Glenn Morris is set to make his 100th career start when Orient take on Doncaster Rovers at Brisbane Road on Saturday.

The 24-year-old stopper, who came through the ranks at Brisbane Road, has made 16 appearances this term - his highest total for three years - and he has been Orient's most impressive performer in recent weeks.

Morris made his O's debut as a 17-year-old in a 2001 Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat to Dagenham & Redbridge, and he was part of the club's youth team that won the Football League Youth Alliance Cup in the same year.

The Woolwich-born keeper is the club's second longest serving player behind Jabo Ibehre - a fact reflected in his number of appearances for the club, which is only surpassed by Ibehre in the current squad.
