ORIENT will travel to newly-promoted League Two side Aldershot Town for a pre-season friendly on Saturday July 26.
The Shots have enjoyed an incredible 2007/08 season, taking 101 points from their 46 league games to claim the title 15 points clear of nearest challengers Cambridge United.
It has been a remarkable rise for Aldershot Town, formed just 16 years ago out of the ashes of Aldershot FC, who were forced to fold during the 1991/92 campaign.
Orient, who face Blue Square North side Boston United on July 20, will welcome the test of Aldershot at the Recreation Ground and manager Martin Ling is looking forward to the game.
"Aldershot will provide us with a good examination and a League Two side away from home will be excellent preparation for us.
"I know Gary Waddock gets his side to play in a good, progressive manner and I look forward to taking our side there."
