ORIENT will take on near-neighbours Dagenham & Redbridge in a pre-season friendly at Victoria Road on Wednesday July 23, kick-off 7.45pm.

The Daggers, who successfully avoided relegation to the Blue Square Premier in their first season as a Football League club, join fellow League Two side Aldershot Town in facing the O's during pre-season.

Orient last faced Dagenham in a Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash in October, which saw Martin Ling's men crash out at the second round stage.

The meeting with John Still's side is the fourth friendly match to be confirmed by the club so far, with Orient due to take on Boston United (July 20), Dagenham & Redbridge (July 23), Aldershot Town (July 26) and Tottenham Hotspur (July 30).
