O's Youngster Is Two Games From Glory

ORIENT Girls' Centre of Excellence youngster Danielle Carter is this afternoon preparing for the biggest game of her life with England U17s just two games from UEFA European U17 Women's Championship glory.

The young Lions have qualified for the four-team final tournament, and their semi-final against France takes place at 5pm on Tuesday at the Colovray Stadium in Nyon, Switzerland.

Denmark and Germany meet in the other semi-final, with the winners going on to compete for the inaugural UEFA Under 17 Women's championship.

Those four teams have also qualified for the first FIFA U17 Women's World Cup in New Zealand between 28 October and 16 November this year.
