ORIENT goalkeeper Glenn Morris has agreed a new contract with the club, keeping him at Brisbane Road until 2010.
The 24-year-old stopper, a product of the O's youth system, took over the role of first choice goalkeeper towards the end of last season after spending three years playing second fiddle to Glyn Garner and Stuart Nelson.
He made his O's debut as an 17-year-old back in 2001 and has played 105 games for the club.
Morris is the second of Orient's out-of-contract players to commit their futures to the club this summer, after Alton Thelwell put pen-to-paper on a one-year deal, and the club are now only waiting on the decision of midfielder Paul Terry.
O's boss Martin Ling said: "I'm delighted that Glenn has signed a new two-year contract with us.
"We have given him the number one jersey for next year and that is fully deserved after the way he played when he got his chance at the end of last season.
"He was last number one four years ago, and he's had to wait for his chance, but I feel he has matured as a goalkeeper over that time, and at 24, he's ready for the challenge."
