SEAN THORNTON is set for his first pre-season friendly appearance of the summer at Boston United on Saturday after recovering from the illness that kept him out of Orient's midweek victory over KFCO Wilrijk,

The midfielder will return to the O's squad for the trip to the Staffsmart Stadium, but he will not be joined by Simon Dawkins, whose fitness will not be risked after he went over on his ankle in training on Tuesday.

Alton Thelwell, Wayne Gray (both knee) and Tamika Mkandawire (groin) are all out, but are closing in on returns after stepping up their training programmes this week.

Kick-off is at 3pm and a full match report will appear on leytonorient.com after the final whistle.

Tickets are priced at £8 adults and £4 concessions, with away supporters gaining admission through turnstiles 7-10.
