O's Gear Up For Spurs Test

Posted on: Wed 30 Jul 2008

ORIENT will face their biggest test of pre-season on Wednesday night when Barclays Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur visit Brisbane Road.

Juande Ramos' side crushed Championship outfit Norwich City 5-1 on Monday night in their first friendly on English soil, with striker Darren Bent laying down a marker for the season ahead by scoring four of the goals.

The north Londoners are in the middile of a hectic week, as after tonight's game against the O's, they travel to Rotterdam to take part in the Feyenoord Jubilee tournament over the weekend.

The O's will be hoping to maintain an unbeaten pre-season record, which includes wins over KFCO Wilrijk, Dagenham & Redbridge and Aldershot Town, and a draw against Boston United.

A limited number of tickets are still available for this evening's match, which kicks-off at 7.45pm. Click here for more information.
