O's Swoop For Luton Wingman
LUTON TOWN winger Dean Morgan has joined Orient on a five-month loan deal.
The 24-year-old wingman will remain with the O's initially until the end of January, making him available for 26 League matches..
Londoner Morgan has been with Luton since May 2005, clocking up 101 appearances and scoring 12 goals.
He enjoyed loan spells at Southend United and Crewe Alexandra last season and has also turned out for Colchester United and Reading.
O's boss Martin Ling had been searching for a left winger all summer and he made his move four days before the summer transfer window slammed shut.
"I'm very pleased to have Dean on board," said Ling.
"He is a player who comes here with a good reputation - he went out on loan to Southend and Luton last season and did very well at those clubs.
"The reason he hasn't been playing for Luton this year is all to do with finances and nothing to do with ability.
"He joins the club with a slight injury which he picked up in a reserve game against Colchester, and he is unlikely to be involved on Saturday, but as I said all along, it's not all about the August games but what follows in the season.
"He's here for five months and if he produces what we know he's capable of we hope to offer him something more permanent."
Morgan will wear the number 11 shirt during his time in E10.
