ORIENT'S youth team will face Wycombe Wanderers in the second round of the FA Youth Cup sponsored by E.ON after the Football League pair saw off non-league opposition in their first round ties on Monday night.
The O's cruised past Boreham Wood with a five-star display, while Wycombe won 2-0 at Sussex club Burgess Hill Town to secure their passage through to the second round.
Harry Baker, who made his first team debut in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat to Brighton recently, was behind much of Orient's success at Meadow Park, scoring once and setting up three other goals.
The goals were shared around the O's side, with strikers Adam Marsh, Adam Bolle and Jake Argent, as well as midfielder Matthew Hall finding the target.
Orient will be aiming to reach the third round stage for the first time since the 2006/07 season, when their interest in the competition was ended by academy side Barnsley.
The tie must be played by November 22 and leytonorient.com will bring you news of a confirmed date as soon as it is arranged.
