Saah Facing Spell Out

Posted on: Tue 18 Nov 2008

BRIAN SAAH is likely to be out for two to three weeks after suffering a hamstring strain in Saturday's win over Crewe Alexandra.

The 21-year-old defender was part of Martin Ling's back four for the last three games - all of which resulted in clean sheets - but Alton Thelwell will now step in to partner Tamika Mkandawire.

Saah has played in 12 of Orient's 16 League fixtures so far this term and is approaching his 100th career start.

O's boss Martin Ling said: "The news isn't as bad as we first thought and Brian is likely to be out for two to three weeks.

"He will target the Northampton game on December 6 for a comeback."
