DEAN MORGAN scored twice to earn Orient's reserve side a point at Ipswich Town on Tuesday afternoon.
Ipswich led at 1-0 and 2-1, but the O's fought back on both occasions and a draw was their reward.
Youth team manager Wayne Burnett said: "I was really pleased with the players' attitude and application.
"We didn't start off particularly well, but we worked hard in the second half and a draw was a fair result."
Ipswich moved into an early lead when they were awarded a penalty for a foul inside the area by keeper Jack Giddens on Dean Bowditch.
Bowditch stepped up to take the spot kick himself, and although Giddens saved, Billy Clarke was on hand to tap home the rebound.
The O's were level just past the half hour mark when Morgan fired in from 20 yards.
Early in the second half, Ipswich's Veliche Schumulikoski sent Bowditch clear and the home striker atoned for his penalty miss by finishing coolly.
Orient refused to accept defeat though, and they equalised again with 20 minutes left when Morgan's drive found the net via a post.
Bowditch smashed a shot against the upright late on, but Ipswich couldn't find a third and Orient collected their well-earned point.
