ORIENT'S first team squad hit the ground running as they reported back for the start of pre-season training on Wednesday morning.

New signings Scott McGleish, Ben Chorley and Adrian Patulea joined their teammates for the first time as Geraint Williams' side began their preparation for the 2009/10 campaign.

The squad were given running drills in the searing Newbury Park heat before the footballs came out for a light skills session.

Orient's first pre-season friendly is just under two weeks away, with a trip to Billericay Town on Tuesday July 14 first on the agenda.

The O's kick off their Coca-Cola League 1 campaign in five-and-a-half weeks at Bristol Rovers.
