ORIENT lost their second home game in three days due to a late Tamika Mkandawire mistake against Charlton, but the O's will bounce back stronger, reckons defensive colleague Charlie Daniels.
Charlie, a very disappointing finish but what did you make of the performance overall?
"I think it was good but you can't get away from the fact that we made mistakes and it cost us the game. I thought we played much better than we did on Saturday, we matched them, especially in the first half and most of the way through the second, but you can't make mistakes like that because you'll get punished."
Was the defeat just down to the mistakes then?
"Of course it was. We were 1-0 up, maybe the first one could have been cleared but certainly the second goal was a mistake by Tam, but he doesn't make mistakes usually. It's just this one time has cost us. But we're going to bounce back."
Will you be able to look back on this soon and think 'we matched a team who were in the Premier League three years ago'?
"Well, I think it was a different team that was in the Premiership but you could say that, they've got a big fanbase and all that - but I thought our fans were good too. As I say, we are gutted but we'll look at it on Thursday or whenever and we'll try and put things right."
You must have been pleased with your cross for our goal?
"It was a great header by Tam to put us 1-0 up, and we played well after that. It didn't win us the game but it's always nice to get an assist."
How important is the game against Yeovil now? We don't want to lose three in a row?
"Well, no, you don't want to lose two in a row either, but we'll go down there with plenty of spirit and we'll give them a good game. Our away form's good but we're confident at home too, it's just mistakes that we've done on Saturday and mistakes we've done today have cost us. But we want to make this a fortress and hopefully from the next home game we'll crack on."
