ORIENT hand Sean Thornton a League start for the first time since August in Saturday's game at Hartlepool United.
Thornton has just returned from a knee injury and will partner Luke Summerfield in central midfield.
Adam Chambers also returns to the bench following a back problem, but Tamika Mkandawire did not make the journey as he is still suffering from headaches following the whack he took on the head in the 2-2 draw with Southampton.
