Melligan Moves On

JJ MELLIGAN has left the club after his contract was cancelled by mutual consent.

The 27-year-old midfielder played 97 times for the O's, scoring nine goals after moving to east London from Cheltenham Town in July 2007.

He made 19 of those appearances this season and scored in the first two matches of the campaign against Bristol Rovers and Colchester United..

Dublin-born Melligan played for Wolverhampton Wanderers, Bournemouth, Kidderminster Harriers, Doncaster Rovers and Cheltenham prior to his move to the O's.
