ORIENT defender Eric Lichaj has been named in the Football League's official League One Team of the Week following Saturday's 2-0 win over Stockport County.
Lichaj, on loan in E10 from Barclays Premier League side Aston Villa, sealed the O's victory over Stockport with a thumping 25-yard drive ten minutes from the end.
It was the first senior goal of the 21-year-old full back's career and he revealed his delight to leytonorient.com.
He said: "It's great - you can see that I'm still smiling and everything. I'll call everyone back home now and tell them.
"I think everyone on the team and in the stands was relieved when we got the second, it was like 'okay, we should win this game now, a weight's off our shoulders.' I think in the first half it was just good not to concede, following the big game on Tuesday, because it took a little while to get into this one, they're at the bottom and already relegated. But we scored the two goals and it was good to get the win."
Lichaj has played six games in O's colours since joining the east Londoners on loan in March 2010, adding to the six he featured in during a loan spell with League Two side Lincoln City earlier this season.
League One Team of the Week: Peter Brezovan (Brighton); Eric Lichaj (Leyton Orient), Mark Bentley (Gillingham), Jose Fonte (Southampton), Adam Drury (Norwich); Adam Miller (Gillingham), Dale Stephens (Oldham), Darel Russell (Norwich), Kevin Betsy (Wycombe); Roy O'Donovan (Hartlepool), Alex Revell (Wycombe)
