ORIENT'S reserves were held 1-1 away at Millwall in the totesport.com Combination reserve league on Tuesday afternoon..

The match was really a game of two halves and the O's enjoyed the first 45 minutes, Loick Pires making Millwall Goalkeeper John Sullivan work early on.

Orient should have been in front soon after though, Harry Baker putting a dangerous ball in and Pires knocking the ball over.

The goal did come midway through the first half, Elliott Omozusi's flick on found trialist George Porter who kept his cool and hit a superb chip over John Sullivan to give the O's a much deserved lead.

Orient continued to threaten in the opening 45 minutes, Cestor Mike unable to turn in Omozusi's cross-shot and Porter couldn't get on the end of a Baker cross.

The home side drew level soon after, ex-Orient striker Gary Alexander putting a very dangerous ball in the six yard box and Omozusi put the ball in his own net.

Millwall came into life in the second half, Mike having to block Ashley Grimes' low shot minutes after the restart. Orient had their second half chances as well. Andrew Cave-Brown skipping past the Millwall defence and forcing Sullivan to make a save.

The Millwall substitutes worked together to provide their best chance for a winner, Connor French went down the left wing and put a low cross into the box but neither Aiden O'Brien or David Adepipe could get on the end of it.

O'Brien had another chance for a winner, breaking free from the O's defence well but he hit his shot right at Glenn Morris in the Orient goal. The final decent chance of the match fell to Orient, trialist David Dowson flicked on a header but Sullivan got to the ball before Louis Crowther.

O's assistant manager Kevin Nugent was happy with his side's performance. He said: "It was a good game, a good competitive game. We had a few trialists in, George Porter scored a great goal. It was very pleasing. A chance to look at some of the young lads as well."
