O'S MIDFIELDER Sean Thornton wants to avoid a nervy final week of the season by sealing their place in League One with victory against Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday.
The Londoners know a win over the Chairboys would make sure of their survival and Irishman Thornton is confident they can make that happen.
"The feeling in the camp ahead of Saturday's game is really good," he said. "The confidence is high and with good reason because we've done well in the last four games.
"We were disappointed not to take anything out of the game at Millwall, but we'll be working hard to put that right against Wycombe.
"We've been playing decent football in recent weeks - in fact, really good football in some stages. Everyone's performing and everybody's doing their jobs on the pitch. The manager has done that, he's made sure people know what they're doing.
"It would be good to put the situation to bed this weekend, but personally it has never entered my mind that we could get relegated because I'm confident we can get something out of Saturday's game.
"All I'm worried about is getting a result against Wycombe."
