O's Waiting On Duo's Fitness

Posted on: Fri 30 Apr 2010

ORIENT pair Charlie Daniels and Scott McGleish face a fight to be fit for Saturday's vital six-pointer against Wycombe Wanderers.

Left back Daniels has been suffering with a knee problem since last Saturday's defeat to Millwall, while former Chairboys striker McGleish has been battling a toe injury for the last few weeks.

O's boss Russell Slade will make late decisions over both of them, but James Scowcroft returns after recovering from a hamstring complaint.

The 34-year-old striker has been absent since last month's 0-0 draw at Exeter City but has returned to training this week and should form part of Slade's squad.

The O's manager said: "Scotty McGleish is looking after that toe of his, and Charlie Daniels has a bit of an injury with his knee ligaments.

"They are the main doubts, but James Scowcroft has trained most of this week, so that is a positive."
