SCOTT McGLEISH has agreed to sign a new one-year contract with the club - and has immediately set his sights on breaking the 200 career League goal barrier.
McGleish, 36, top scored for the O's last term with 12 and is now just 10 short of reaching his double ton.
And with another season of npower League 1 football to look forward to, McGleish is sure he can reach - and go beyond - that milestone.
"Reaching 200 goals is an aim," he told leytonorient.com. "I always back myself to score, and that'll be the case again next season.
"Everyone talks about the fact I'll be another year older, but I still feel fit and ready to play 40-odd games.
"To get 10 and reach 200 would be lovely, but to get 15 would be better. I want to play every game and be the top scorer, and that will be the case for all the strikers here."
McGleish is in his third spell as an O's player and he was keen to keep his association with the club going.
He added: "I'm pleased to sign for another year. Every player wants to play as high as possible and it's great to stay here in League 1.
"Everyone knows I have a lot of fondness for the O's, so there was no decision to make really."
McGleish joins fellow striker Ryan Jarvis in signing a new contract with the club this summer.
After Jason Demetriou turned down his offer of new terms in favour of a move to Cypriot side AEK Larnaca, the O's are now only waiting on the decisions of Tamika Mkandawire, Adam Chambers, Charlie Daniels and Cestor Mike.
