The Tangerines, who were playing Orient in League 1 as recently as the 2006/07 season, won promotion to the Barclays Premier League in an incredible play-off final victory over Cardiff City last term.

They become the 44th different team to compete in the Premier League since its formation in 1992.

Managed by Ian Holloway, they include former O's man Gary Taylor-Fletcher in their squad.

TOURNAMENT FORM: Both teams come into this game boasting 100% records in the Joma Cup.

Orient beat Eastleigh 2-1 and Truro City 4-0 in the group stages to book their place in the last four, while Blackpool saw off Accrington Stanley 2-1 before defeating Kilmarnock 5-4 on penalties after a 2-2 draw.

Saturday's game would go straight to penalties if it is drawn after 90 minutes - there is no extra-time in this competition.
