No New Injury Worries For Cambridge

Posted on: Fri 30 Jul 2010

ORIENT manager Russell Slade has no new injury concerns for Saturday's pre-season friendly at Cambridge United.

The O's boss will only be missing Charlie Daniels (knee) and George Porter (ankle) from his squad as they fine-tune their preparations for the 2010/11 campaign.

Newcastle United Ben Tozer is set to play a part again as he bids to impress Slade, while youngsters Jake Argent, Harry Beautyman and Josh Millwood are expected to get some game time.

Saturday's game at the R Costings Abbey Stadium comes just seven days before the start of the new season and will pit the O's against their former boss Martin Ling.

Ling, who led Orient to promotion from League 2 in 2006, is about to embark on his second campaign as Cambridge manager as the U's look to make the step back up to the Football League.

Kick-off at the Abbey Stadium is at 3pm, and leytonorient.com will be on hand to provide extensive coverage of the game.
