CHARLIE DANIELS will get the opportunity to build his match fitness when the O's reserves take on Reading in a behind-closed-doors friendly match on Tuesday afternoon.

The 23-year-old left back injured his knee in pre-season and returned ahead of schedule to come off the bench during the second half of Friday's 3-1 defeat to Charlton Athletic.

He will now look to add to that game time, along with fellow pros Aaron Brown, Jonathan Téhoué, Lee Butcher and Harry Beautyman, who have all had to be content with places on the substitutes' bench so far thit season.
