Fred Graham Appointed As Saturday's Ref

Posted on: Fri 03 Sep 2010

ESSEX referee Fred Graham will be the man in the middle for Saturday's npower League 1 derby at Dagenham & Redbridge.

Graham, 42, is in his second spell on the National List of Referees, having returned to the rank in 2006, a year after losing his status.

He began refereeing in 1988, and handed out 78 yellow cards and seven reds in his 31 games last term.

Graham was also the referee for the last meeting between the Daggers and the O's, when the Victoria Road club won 1-0 at Brisbane Road in an October 2007 Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash.

He has taken charge of three other O's games in the past, with Orient winning two and drawing one of those fixtures.

Saturday's assistant referees are Carl Fitch and Matt Stewart. Rob Whitton is the fourth official.
