TO CELEBRATE his 10th birthday this year, Orient mascot Theo the Wyvern is aiming to raise £5,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
To do this he needs everyone to be as generous as possible and donate to this wonderful cause.
Throughout the season Theo will take on a number of footballing challenges during half time at home games, which will include a crossbar challenge, penalty shootouts and attempting to score from his own half as Matt Spring did in the friendly win over Cambridge (Theo will be asking for tips!).
Keep an eye out for these challenges and if you feel Theo has made a worthwhile effort then please donate what you can for a wonderful cause that helps support so many who are affected by cancer.
In addition Theo has invited a number of his mascot friends to kick things off during our home game with Brentford on Friday September 24 so keep an eye out for which mascots you can spot.
To donate please visit www.justgiving.com/TheoWyvern or dig deep in your pockets and throw any spare change in any collection buckets you see during the season.
Keep up to date with Theo's attempts on twitter and facebook. On twitter search for 'theo_wyvern' and on facebook search for 'Theo the Wyvern'. We hope to post pictures and videos from all his attempts here as well as on the official club website at www.leytonorient.com
