Chicksen Back For U's Game

Posted on: Fri 27 Jan 2012

ADAM CHICKSEN returns to the O's squad for Saturday's npower League 1 visit of Colchester United after recovering from a groin injury.

The on-loan MK Dons defender missed last weekend's victory at Preston North End with the strain but resumed training this week and is available for selection again.

Also pushing for a place in the defensive line will be Ben Chorley, who has now served his three-match ban for a sending off in the win at Stevenage at the start of January.

That means O's boss Russell Slade has a full complement of centre backs to choose from, with Scott Cuthbert, Dean Leacock, Terrell Forbes, Syam Ben Youssef and Chorley fighting for those positions.

Orient's only injury absentee is Stephen Dawson, who remains a couple of weeks away from fitness after suffering an ankle injury earlier this month.
