JOHN MACKIE will lead Orient's reserve team for their Pontin's Holidays Combination fixture at Colchester United on Tuesday afternoon (kick-off 2pm).

The O's club captain, suspended for Saturday's League One game with Rotherham after being sent off at Brighton, is, however, free to play for the reserves and he will partner Brian Saah in central defence at Layer Road.

Paul Connor and Jabo Ibehre are partnered up-front, while first year scholar Solomon Shields is given a first taste of reserve team football on the right wing.

Orient will also run the rule over 22-year-old French right back Steeve Joseph-Reinette, who made 27 appearances - including nine in the top flight - for Guingamp, and young left winger Ricky Campbell.
