Brian capped a fantastic 2006/07 season by winning the club's Young Player of the Year award - confirming the success of his conversion from central midfield to centre back.
Four years ago, he became one of Orient's youngest ever players when he made his full debut at Huddersfield a full 90 days before his 17th birthday.
The O's Centre of Excellence product continued to impress in the middle of the park during his fleeting moments in the first team over the next two seasons - but it wasn't until last term, and that move from midfield to defence, that he made a first XI spot his own.
Mature for his age, Brian is a good passer and a strong tackler who can also head the ball well and read the game effectively.
Looking set to have a bright future in the game, Brian has proven already that he is not out of place on the senior stage - and he will be looking to continue on his upward curve during his second year as a professional.
