Jason made great strides throughout the course of the 2006/07 season, appearing 19 times in the senior side to mark a successful first year as a professional.
An extremely versatile player capable of playing in central midfield, on the right wing or at right back, Jason was handed his first team debut during the 2005/06 season as reward for an impressive 18 months in the youth and reserve teams.
Newham-born Demetriou also has a great eye for goal - scoring a remarkable 17 times, mostly from full-back, in 2004/05. He then backed this up with his first two senior strikes last year.
A set-piece specialist who supports the attack well and can pass with both feet, Jason will be pressing for more first team activity during 2007/08.
