Tottenham Hotspur Academy graduate Charlie joined Orient on a permanent basis from the White Hart Lane club in January 2009. Having spent the entire 2007/08 season on loan at Brisbane Road, left back Charlie leapt at the chance to return to E10 and is now closing in on his second century of appearances for the club. He spent six years with Spurs, but didn't make a first team appearance, instead gaining first team experience with loan spells at Chesterfield, Orient and Gillingham. His performances in 2009/10 played a big role in Russell Slade's men winning their fight against the drop from League 1 and he continued that progress last term by forming a fine partnership with Dean Cox on the left. Harlow-born Daniels is also capable of playing higher up the pitch on the left flank, although left back is where he has settled during his time at Brisbane Road. Charlie Daniels |
