20-YEAR-OLD goalkeeper Jamie Jones arrived at Orient in the summer of 2008 following his release by Everton.
The Liverpool-born stopper came through the ranks at the Goodison Park club and signed his first professional contract there in 2007.
But with his route to first team football blocked by the likes of American international Tim Howard, he was deemed surplus to requirements by the Merseyside club, allowing Martin Ling to bring the youngster to E10.
He has already promised to push Glenn Morris all the way for the starting role between the posts and is sure to add excellent depth to the O's squad.
Jones made his League debut at the end of January 2009 and became an instant hero - saving a stoppage time penalty to secure a 2-1 victory at Milton Keynes Dons in just his second game.
He kept his place between the sticks and ended the season as Orient's number one.
