19-YEAR-OLD goalkeeper Jamie Jones arrived at Orient in the summer of 2008 following his release by Everton.
The Kirkby-born stopper came through the ranks at the Goodison Park club and signed his first professional contract there in 2007.
But with his route to first team football blocked by the likes of American international Tim Howard, he was deemed surplus to requirements by the Merseyside club, allowing Martin Ling to bring the youngster to E10.
He has already promised to push Glenn Morris all the way for the starting role between the posts and is sure to add excellent depth to the O's squad.
Jones is awaiting his debut at first team level, but has Barclays Premier Reserve League experience from his time at Everton and he is keen to make an impression at Orient.
