18-YEAR-OLD Wigan Athletic defender Luke Ashworth joined Orient on a month-loan loan deal in August 2008.
A first year pro at the JJB Stadium, Luke will be looking to gain senior experience during his time at Brisbane Road, as well as adding valuable depth to Martin Ling's squad.
The Bolton-born defender won Wigan's Young Player of the Year award last season and was a regular in their reserve side - where he came to O's boss Martin Ling's attention.
Standing 6'2'' tall, Luke is adept in the air and comfortable on the ball too, and he will remain at Brisbane Road until September 26.
