SECOND year scholar Jack Giddens earned his call to the first team squad in August 2009 following an injury to Jamie Jones.
With Glenn Morris stepping up to take Jones' starting place, Giddens was promoted to the bench and he was an unused substitute in the 2-2 draw with Carlisle United on August 29 2009.
The Dagenham-born youngster shares goalkeeping duties in the youth team with Daniel Bygrave and was a member of the under-18 side which progressed to the third round of the FA Youth Cup in the 2008/09 season.
