19-year-old striker Jake Argent was handed his first pro deal in the summer of 2010, but missed the whole of his debut season with injury after suffering damage to his knee in pre-season.
In a friendly at Cambridge, Argent sustained damage to his meniscus and knee ligaments and he faced a long road to recovery.
It was desperately disappointing news for the north Londoner, who was hoping to make an impact on his step up to the pro ranks, following a prolific year with the under-18s.
He bagged 18 goals in 26 youth team matches, helping fire Andy Edwards' team to the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup.
