Peterborough United 0 - 0 Leyton Orient
Puma Youth Alliance South East Conference
ORIENT'S youth team resumed their Youth Alliance campaign with a well-earned point at Peterborough United.
The O's held firm to record their first clean sheet since the opening day of the season and put their recent cup disappointments behind them.
Youth Development Manager Ross Embleton said: "It was a scrappy game played on a bobbly pitch, but our application was good and it was pleasing to keep a clean sheet."
Orient found the conditions unconducive to their passing game, but they did a good job of keeping Peterborough at bay, with Michael Doyle making three excellent saves to preserve his clean sheet.
Orient had chances of their own, creating more scoring opportunities than the hosts, although the best chances fell to the Posh.
In the end, a draw was a fair result and Orient will look to use it as a building block.
