ORIENT'S youth team maintained their rich vein of form by beating London rivals Barnet 3-1 at Ive Farm on Saturday.

The O's youngsters have now won three of their last four league fixtures, as well as playing a major role in the last two reserve victories, and they showed good character to come from behind against the Bees.

Barnet took an early lead, but Orient reponded strongly to take the spoils and youth team manager Kevin Nugent (pictured) was delighted with his side's application.

He said: "We started slowly, but I was always confident we would get back in it and we scored three times in a very good 20 minute spell.

"We stopped getting the ball into the box after that, but it was pleasing that we didn't concede again and it was a good result.

"It's a good little run that we've gone on now, and the players are improving all of the time."

All of the action came in an exciting first half which saw Orient battle back from going behind early on.

Jack Page, Adam Marsh and Bradley Gray were all on target from close range in a devastating 20 minute spell which proved enough to claim victory.
