Leyton Orient 1 - 0 Wycombe Wanderers
Puma Youth Alliance South East Conference

ORIENT'S youth team ended their season with a bang on Saturday, beating Wycombe Wanderers 1-0 to secure third spot in the Puma Youth Alliance South East Conference table.

With Bradley Gray, Loick Pires and Solomon Shields on first team duty, youth team manager Kevin Nugent had to field his youngest line-up of the season, but Adam Bolle's solitary goal was enough to give them victory.

Nugent said: "We had a very, very young side but we gave a good performance and it was excellent to win.

"It's nice to end the season on a positive note and a third place finish is a good acheivement."

Following a tight first half, Orient scored the decisive goal when substitute Musa Manneh crossed for Bolle to convert.

The O's looked for more, but Wycombe came back into the game and pushed strongly for an equaliser.

O's goalkeeper Jack Giddins stood firm, though, to ensure the under-18s finished the season in style.
