Two Wins In A Row For O's Youth
Aldershot Town U18 1 - 4 Leyton Orient U18
Puma Youth Alliance South East Conference
ORIENT'S youth team made it two wins from two with a convincing 4-1 success at Aldershot Town.
Adam Bolle, Joseph Boakye, Josh Millwood and Adam Marsh were all on target as the O's gave another impressive goalscoring display.
However, youth team boss Kevin Nugent still insists that there is room for improvement.
"It was another good victory, although the performance wasn't quite up to the standards we set ourselves," he admitted.
"There are things that we can improve on, but it is good to see us scoring goals. It was also good for Josh Millwood to clock up 90 minutes as he returns to full fitness.
"It is an excellent start in terms of results, but we're not performing as well as we were in pre-season and we're looking for an improvement."
Bolle gave the O's a lead which was quickly consolidated by Boakye's strike.
Aldershot pulled one back, but the O's restored their two goal advantage through Millwood. Marsh's second of the season added some gloss to the scoreline.
